Observation of Good Governance Day on December 25 in Mizoram on Christmas Day.
"We want the state government to prepone or postpone the observation of the Good Governance Day," the YMA said.
The YMA, in a press statement today said, the centre should respect religious sentiments of the people of the Christian dominated Mizoram and should not force people of the state to observe Good Governance Day on December 25, since many government employees will not be able to celebrate Christmas as a result.
