The youth was arrested last night after he took the 16-year-old girl to several places including suburban Govandi and Karnataka state, API V S Jagtap of the Mira Road police station told PTI.
The accused identified as Karam H Ali Hussain who works as a motor driver, allegedly lured the girl whom he met here on September 22.
The parents of the girl had filed a missing person complaint with the police after being unable to trace her.
The girl has been sent for medical examination and the arrested accused had been booked under sections 366 and 376 of the IPC and also under section 3 and 4 of POSCA Act 2012, the officer said.
