Youth arrested for assaulting police constable in Chandigarh

A 21-year-old youth has been arrested for allegedly thrashing a police constable here and filming it, police said today.
Some hooligans, including the accused Harish Kamboj, a resident of Sirsa in Haryana, in October last year assaulted police constable Manoj who was on routine duty and also made a video of the incident, they said.
An FIR under relevant sections was registered, police said, adding investigation to apprehend other accused is underway.
