Sayantan Sarkar was arrested for creating a fake profile - 'Notun Jiban' - using photos of a middle-aged woman and posting links to pronographic websites from that account, a senior police officer said.
Based on the complaint of the woman and using the location of the computer, Sarkar was nabbed, he said.
The youth has been booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of Indian Penal Code, and various sections of the IT Act.
