Superintendent of Police, Rural, Surendra Tiwari said the accused, Satish, was arrested outside the village. He confessed to his crime during interrogation.
A case under POSCO act and rape has been filed against Satish, he said.
His friend, Seshnarayan, who had allegedly grabbed the minor, is absconding, the SP said.
The minor girl was allegedly raped by Satish on Sunday, police said.
The victim was grabbed Seshnarayan when she was returning home from the fields. She was then raped by his friend Satish.
