Youth Congress activist 'thrashed' by cops in court complex

A youth Congress activist has alleged that he was beaten up by policemen in the district court complex here.
The victim Simranjit Singh Goldi, a resident of Marhi Mustafa village and his associate appeared in court in a civil case yesterday, police said.
In a complaint filed by Goldi, the cops who had come to present a charge sheet against him in the trespass case allegedly manhandled him and the associate.
However, Goldi claimed that he had been granted bail in the case.
Meanwhile, Goldi's lawyers submitted a complaint before a judge who has asked the police to submit a report.
