Youth Congress activists today burnt an effigy of Pakistan to protest the death of Sarabjit Singh and demanded better security for Indian prisoners in that country's jails.
"We are protesting here against the killing of Sarabjit in Pakistan. We demand that Indian prisoners in Pakistani jails as well as minorities in Pakistan should be provided security," a Youth Congress activist told reporters.
Over a hundred activists raised anti-Pakistan slogans over the death of Sarabjit Singh, after he was brutally attacked by six inmates in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail.
