Youth drowned in river Gandak

One youth drowned and another was missing in the river Gandak near Vishnupur Ahok village in this district today.
The incident occurred this morning when they had gone to take bath in the river and slipped into deep waters, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar said.
The youths were indentified as Chhote Kumar (17) and Vishal Kumar (18).
The body of Chhote Kumar had been fished out of the river by the villagers, while efforts were on to locate Vishal Kumar, he said.
