Additional Sessions Judge M C Gupta, who is presiding over the fast track court set up to deal with cases of sexual offences against women, awarded the rigorous jail term to 22-year-old Sunny.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on Sunny, a resident of Mahavir Vihar in North West Delhi.
The judge said it stands established that Sunny was involved in sexual intercourse with the minor without her consent.
According to the prosecution, Sunny, who was known to the girl, kidnapped her on May 23, 2011 and took her to a garden near her house and raped the class 4 student.
When the girl's parents, working as labourers, came home, their younger daughter told them that a boy had forcibly taken away the victim and they all started looking for her, it said.
During the trial, Sunny, who is married, claimed innocence and said he was falsely implicated in the case.
