Youth kills girlfriend, arrested
Jatin shot at Prachi (19) with a country-made pistol near her house in Gayatri Colony in the city area, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) V K Mishra said, adding that the girl died on the spot.
The accused was later arrested, he said
During interrogation, Jatin told police that Prachi had given her mobile to him to get it repaired. While going through the mobile, Jatin checked her Facebook account after which he suspected that she was cheating on him.
The two had been in a relationship for past four years.
