Youth sets himself afire; jumps in front of train

The youth, around 23 years of age, ran on the railway track after setting himself on fire when the Delhi-bound Guwahati Express was approaching the station last evening, they said.

The driver applied emergency brakes, but the youth was run over by that time.

Efforts are being made to identify the youth, they said.
