Militants shot dead a 22-year-old youth in Sopore township of Baramulla district here, police said today.

The ultras dragged Mohammad Iqbal Khan out of his house in Bomai village of Sopore town, 55 kms from here, last night and shot at him from close range, police said.

Khan died on the spot, they said, adding that a case has been registered and investigation into the incident is on.
