The 28-year-old actor, who has been single since parting ways from ex girlfriend Sami Miro, feels its not necessary that a guy should make a first move always, reported Femalefirst.
"I think it's fine for girls to ask boys out. I actually prefer it," Efron said.
However, the former Disney star says its tough for him to hide his feelings.
"A girl can tell I like her when I blush or start telling bad jokes," he added.
The "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" actor said he is not shy about sharing his feelings.
