Malik was accused of two-timing his girlfriend after he was spotted holding hands with a blonde girl outside Seduction club in Phuket, Thailand.
He also posed for a picture with his hand around her waist inside the nightclub while he and his bandmates were in the country for the Asian leg of their On the Road Again roadshow, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta," a representative said.
