Zimbabwe polls close after landmark election

Polls closed in Zimbabwe's landmark election today, AFP reporters witnessed, after the country's first vote since Robert Mugabe was ousted in November following 37 years in power.

Election officials in the capital Harare said polling had closed, though any citizen waiting in line to vote would be allowed to cast their ballot.
