The company had posted a net profit of Rs 21.76 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Zydus Wellness said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income from operations stood at Rs 97.52 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 101.10 crore for the same period year ago.
The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 108.95 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015. It was Rs 96.45 crore in the year ago period.
In a separate filing to BSE, Zydus Wellness said its board has recommended a dividend of Rs 6 per share on 3,90,72,089 equity shares of Rs 10 each for the year ended on March 31, 2015.
The board has also appointed Tarun Arora as an additional director of the company.He has also been appointed as a whole time director to be designated as 'Chief Operating Officer' of the company, it added.
Shares of Zydus Wellness today closed at Rs 1,000.90 per scrip on BSE, up 0.73 per cent from it's previous close.
