Air Berlin files for insolvency, Lufthansa in takeover talks

BERLIN (Reuters) - Struggling German airline Air Berlin filed for insolvency on Tuesday and said it was in talks with Lufthansa over the German airline buying parts of its business.

Air Berlin said its flights were continuing and the German government was supporting it with a bridge loan.
