Reuters Market Eye - The BSE Sensex and Nifty were trading lower on Friday, tracking a fall in global shares on worries about weak German export data.

The benchmark BSE Sensex was down 0.62 percent while the broader Nifty fell 0.64 percent as of 1:35 p.m.

Blue-chips were leading the falls, especially banks and financial firm shares.

State Bank of India fell 0.18 percent, while ICICI Bank was down 0.71 percent.

Infosys surged 6.7 percent after the company's September-quarter earnings beat estimates.
