MUMBAI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex rebounded in a volatile session on Tuesday, a day after hitting two-month lows, as blue-chip stocks such as Reliance Industries gained on short-covering ahead of the expiry of June derivative contracts on Thursday.
Reliance Industries provisionally rose 1.2 percent, while ITC ended 1.8 percent higher.
The BSE Sensex and the 50-share Nifty provisionally gained 0.34 percent each. (Reporting by Abhishek Vishnoi; Editing by Subhranshu Sahu)
