Bajaj Auto April Sales Rise 18 Pre Cent

Two-wheeler sales of Bajaj Auto have spurted by 18 per cent in April, 2000 over the corresponding period last year. This is better than the industry growth ratte, resulting in the company's share in two-and three-wheelers rising to 34.2 per cent, according to a company release. "The Khushi Se Pagal Scheme Ho Jao scratch card scheme is catching up and May is expected to be another good month for Bajaj Auto," according to R L Ravichandran, vice president, business and product development.
