Gujral To Visit N-E

Prime Minister I K Gujral will visit the North-East in the last week of this month to review the progress of developmental works and implementation of the economic package in the region. The three-day tour is likely to cover Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura. Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda had announced a Rs 6,100 crore economic package for all-round development of the region.
