Eric Schmidt, chief executive of global network software major Novell Inc , plans to visit India.
Novell has substantial investments in India in a joint venture with Onward Network technologies Ltd anda software development centre at Bangalore. Onward Novell is a 50:50 venture.
Schmidt will meet government officials and heads of his companies besides large corporates.

Schmidt would also be addressing the industry leadership summit organised by Nasscom which would be attended by CEOs of leading software companies in India and a gathering organsied by the Internet Users Community of India at Mumbai.
