Pepper Prices Up

Black pepper prices rose sharply on continued buying by domestic traders and good export enquiries at the international commodity exchange for pepper here yesterday, dealers said.

Last weeks keen demand from domestic traders and exporters continued today to push up prices further Yesterday,

June contracts were quoted higher at Rs 16,900 a quintal against Rs 16,500 during previous trading.
