Q1 Sugar Output

The domestic sugar output touched 3.35 million tonne in the first three months of the 1997-98 (October-September) season, up 14 per cent from the same period a year earlier, the Food Ministry said on Friday. The total output in the season was expected to exceed 12 million tonne.
