Rhone-Poulenc has more than doubled its net profit in the first half of the current fiscal to Rs 13.83 crore from Rs 6.80 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Net sales increased by 30.2 per cent to Rs 101.54 crore from Rs 77.95 crore.
Other income was constant at Rs 3.43 crore. Gross profit increased to Rs 15.67 crore from Rs 12.02 crore.
Interest payment climbed by 47 per cent to Rs 28 lakh.
