Russi Informs Ai Board Of Decision To Quit

Russi Mody has informed the members of the Air India board of his decision to quit as its part-time chairman with effect from January 1.. He had submitted his resignation to the Union civil aviation minister a month ago.
Mody despatched a letter apprising the Air India directors of the decision on the first day of the year.
Sources say Modys resignation has not yet been accepted by the ministry. Mody says: So far I have not received a formal acceptance or rejection of my resignation. Neither have I seen my appointment letter till date.
