Debentures of Reliance Capital and Reliance Industries saw deals for Rs 11.06 crore and Rs 5.09 crore respectively yesterday . The total debenture trade on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was placed at Rs 19.76 crore
Government securities saw active trading despite the prevailing call rates which was in the range of 9-9.5 per cent. Trading in the debt section at the wholesale debt market of the NSE was placed at Rs 432.41 crore on Friday, and the turnover of this week has reached Rs 1977.14 crore .

The securities which saw active trading were the 12.14 per cent government loan maturing in 2000 which saw a primary dealer take up positions. The trades in this counter was placed at Rs 55 crore at a yield of 11.38 per cent. The other securities which attracted attention were the 13.5 per cent loan maturing this year changing hands for Rs 45 crore at 7.84 per cent yield, and the 12.59 per cent issue of government loan maturing in 2004 dealt for Rs 40 crore at a lower yield of 12.49 per cent .
The certificate of deposits of ICICI and Indian Bank were dealt for Rs 40 crore each, and the yields on these instruments vary from 10 per cent to 10.3 per cent.
The bonds of ICICI, maturing in 1998, was dealt for Rs 45 crore at 12.08 per cent yield.
