At the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong, a couple of years ago, I met the designer of Apple’s retail stores – Wilhem Oehl. “How did you design this beautiful store?” I asked. Pat came Oehl’s reply: “Every Tuesday at 4 pm, I meet Steve and he tells me what he wants, and I make it.” Steve Jobs is known to get into his products, stores and every Apple touch point in great detail. He has a cult following. I doubt anyone can replace Steve Jobs.
