After downloading the app on a Nokia Lumia 720, we started off with the game. The first chapter of the first location, a "small town" entailed using clicking photos of Superman (called sightings), destroy objects with Superman's vision (under protect citizens) and flying through a certain number of hoops in the air in a stipulated time (called superman flyer). While these tasks seemed easy, when we got down to doing them, they proved to be challenging. It's a nice game to while away the time as Superman, provided you have the patience to go through the repetitive tasks at the beginning.
We then tried to book tickets with the app after we were given names of cinemas and the distance from the current location, where the film was running. But all we came up with was a Foursquare page. So, we had to book the tickets online. We did get some dope on the film from the movie info section, but it was more like stuff you'd like to check out while queuing up to enter the show or some more information you'd like after watching the film. Of course, the videos look fabulous.
We're still going through the paces in the game to unlock the rewards - ringtones and wallpapers, and we hope to drop in at a Nokia store to download the comic. As for the photo challenge, we're giving it a miss for now as we can't afford to miss the movie. Sorry, Man of Steel (the app), I'd much rather watch the movie now
