Freecharge, digital payments platform, today said it has partnered with bus aggregator Shuttl to help over 15,000 commuters in Delhi-NCR to go cashless for their daily commute. Consumers can pay for their ride on Shuttl app using the Freecharge wallet in less than 10 seconds, the two companies said in a combined statement.  

As per the partnership, Shuttl will also get instant access to millions of wallet users and leverage the payment gateway from Freecharge.

With over 20,000 rides per day and approximately 400 buses at over 100 routes, Shuttl will be able to offer its commuters a swifter and secure way to pay with Freecharge, the statement said. 

Commenting on the partnership, Sudeep Tandon, Chief Business Officer, Freecharge said, “Our partnership with Shuttl is another step in the direction to make daily payments more convenient for consumers."
