For the first time, the titans of the Indian IT industry will show their financial muscle on the same day. Both Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys have decided to announce their quarterly numbers (April-June) on July 12.
While Infosys has already officially announced July 12 as the date for the Q1 results announcement, TCS has finalised the same date, according to company sources. The company, however, is yet to make an official announcement to this effect.
Infosys normally announces its results ahead of any other company and its numbers were considered to set the tone for the IT industry. However, the recent quarters have proved that this is no more the case.
