Intex launches 4G-enabled Cloud Crystal 2.5D smartphone

Intex Technologies launched its 4G/LTE smartphone Cloud Crystal 2.5D on Thursday. The device, retailing at Rs 6,899, will be exclusively available on online marketplace Amazon.

The Cloud Crystal 2.5D comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display along with a 2.5D curved glass design with smooth and round edges. According to Intex, the curved glass design makes it convenient for the user to touch and swipe with fingers, giving the device a premium and elegant look.

The device sports 3GB of RAM and is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Mediatek chipset. The device runs on Android OS Lollipop 5.1. The phone has a 2,200mAh battery, providing a claimed talk time of six-eight hours along with a standby time of up to five days.

The smartphone comes with a LED flash-equipped eight-megapixel (MP) rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

The device has 16GB ROM, with an expandable memory of up to 32GB. Additionally, it provides the Matrabhasha service, which will enable communication in 21 regional languages, including Hindi. 

The handset, weighing in at 148 g, comes in two colours — black and white.
