The iPhone 5 will officially start retailing in India from tomorrow and the device has already been completely pre-booked. The latest phone by world's most valuable company will be available across leading Apple outlets.

However, if you haven't pre-booked the device you will have you wait for another two weeks before you can lay your hand on the device.

Only customers who had pre-booked the device a week ago will get to pick it up tomorrow.

The base model with 16 GB memory will be sold for Rs 45,500, 32 GB for RS 52,500 and the 64 GB model will be available for Rs 59,500. A factory unlocked version of iPhone 5 is sold between $699 and $899 in the US market.

According to a sales executive with a leading Apple retailer, all iPhone 5 that are hitting the shelf tomorrow have been pre-booked. Customers will have to can pre-book the device by paying Rs 5,000 and the delivery time will be 15 days.

The device is in short supply in US, its home market, as well with shipping time between 3-4 weeks.

iPhone 5 had hit Apple retail stores in the US on September 21 with fans swamping outside the stores overnight.

Making the latest iPhone available in the country in just a month of its global launch and rupee-pricing the App Store are clear indications that the over $560 billion market cap Apple is increasing its focus on the Indian market.
