Moto 360: A watch ahead of time

Imagine twisting your wrist to check the time and your watch telling you how your body is behaving at that particular moment. Innovative, isn't it? This is exactly what Motorola has kept in mind and come out with their new Moto 360 collection of smartwatches.

The latest product from Motorola streamlines your mobile life by giving you the information that matters, adding more time and value to the things you love to do.

Five variants of Moto 360 -- three metal and two leather ones -- are expected to be launched in India. Interestingly, for the first time two exclusive variants are being launched for women -- a distinctive rose gold with blush leather and natural metal. The men's variants will be available in cognac, black leather and black metal. The collection will be available only on Flipkart and Myntra, from 7:30 pm tonight, priced between Rs 19,999 and Rs 23,000.

The men’s Moto 360 will come in a 42mm and a 46mm watch screen size with two different band sizes. The band sizes launched are 20mm and 22mm. There’s also a women’s Moto 360 which comes in a 42mm case with a 16mm band.

The second generation model is aimed at improving upon the previous one incorporating a new design which facilitates changing bands, a repositioned crown to prevent accidental presses and higher resolution display. The watch is laced with a faster Snapdragon 400 processor, and a bigger battery, giving two days of usage on the 46mm model and a day and a half on the 42mm model.

The watch has an in-built feature called Moto Body that takes you a step closer to a healthier lifestyle. It not only keeps a track of the number of steps you take in a day or how many calories you burn but its accurate sensors also give you an insight to your heart rate. 

The smartwatch will also be available to iOS users.
