Spice Mobiles launches dual-SIM handset at Rs 18,499

B K Modi group firm Spice Mobiles today launched a Windows-enabled dual-SIM handset 'Spice D-1111' priced at Rs 18,499.     

The handset is based on Windows Mobile 6.0 platform and is equipped with a two-megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth, Spice Mobiles said in a statement.     

With an expandable memory of up to 2GB, the handset also has embedded value-added services like Nimbuzz, Reuters, Mitr and Opera Mini, it added.     

"Spice Mobiles has always endeavoured to drive innovation in the mobile handset industry and set new benchmarks through user-friendly and smart product offerings. With the launch of Spice D-1111, we have introduced dual-SIM Windows mobile in India," Spice Mobiles Chief Executive Officer Kunal Ahooja said.

The handset also has an enterprise application email2SMS service, which allows users to read their emails as SMS without having to activate GPRS or download any software. "Spice Mobiles is offering one month free subscription of emails2SMS service on the handset," the statement added.
