Videocon launches GSM services in Punjab, Haryana

Having already invested about Rs 850 crore in launching its GSM services in Punjab and Haryana, the Videocon Group, has further plans to inject Rs 800 crore within a year in these two states for expanding its base. The launch of services in the region is a part of the company’s rapid roll-out of services covering 100 key cities/towns over 100 days.

Videocon Group Chairman, Venugopal Dhoot said, “Our company envisages investments of around Rs 14,000 crore in Videocon mobile services over the next 3 years.”
