Wipro Infocrossing, a Wipro group company, today said it will set up a data centre in North Carolina, US.
Wipro Infocrossing has purchased an existing structure in Cleveland County, North Carolina, and will convert the building to a new data centre to support its growing IT infrastructure business, Wipro Infocrossing said in a statement.
However, the investment details were not disclosed.
"Our vision for our Cleveland County data centre is to not only increase our data centre footprint, but build a data centre that brings the best infrastructure technology to our clients," Wipro Infocrossing President Sameer Kishore said.
Wipro Infocrossing provides IT management solutions for large and mid-size enterprises. It recently announced the addition of a new data centre in Meerbusch, Germany.
"The addition of the Cleveland County data centre will enhance our capabilities and capacity, positioning us for greater marketshare," Martha Bejar President Global Sales and Operations Wipro said.
