In yet another management rejig, the country's third-largest software exporter Wipro has elevated current CFO (IT Business) Manish Dugar to take over as the head of BPO operations.

Dugar takes over as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Wipro BPO from Ashutosh Vaidya, who has decided to move on to pursue other personal and professional interests outside Wipro, Wipro said in a statement.

Dugar's role will now be taken over by Jatin Dalal, who is currently serving as Finance Head for E&U, Manufacturing and Hitech SBUs and Product Engineering Service line globally.

"Manish Dugar has been a long term member of the Wipro Technologies leadership team and brings a deep knowledge and understanding of both the strategic and operational facets of the business and will drive Wipro's worldwide position in the BPO space," the company said.

Dalal will be responsible for furthering finance support for growth initiatives, driving efficiency and simplification in processes and leading profitability improvement, it added.

He will report to Suresh Senapaty and TK Kurien.

Wipro has seen several changes to its management structure in the last few months, after the two joint CEOs for the IT business stepped down. They were replaced by TK Kurien.

Wipro has, since then, named Sangeetha Singh as the head of its healthcare vertical and Ayan Mukherji as the head of the telecom vertical, among other changes.

"Manish has enormous passion for this business and his previous role as the CFO will equip him to fully understand and respond to the challenges and opportunities that confront our customers on a daily basis," Kurien said.
