Wynn Telecom, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rs 2,500 crore SAR Group, today forayed in the Uttar Pradesh market by launching low-cost mobile handsets.
The handsets have been launched under Wynncom brand with price range of Rs 1,500-5,000. “UP is an important market for us and we will especially target the tier II and III towns here,” Wynn Telecom chairman Rakesh Malhotra told the media.
The company is targeting 5 per cent market share in the GSM handset segment by December 2010 and to be among the top 3 Indian mobile handset brand by next year.
SAR Group is a leading player in the field of power technology products and services, including companies like Luminous Power Technologies.
