J Bradford DeLong is a professor of economics at UC Berkeley and a former US Treasury official. He received his B.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1982 and 1987, respectively. He joined UC Berkeley as an associate professor in 1993 and became a full professor in 1997.
