Kaushik Deb is a senior research scholar at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Prior to joining the Center, he led the Markets and Industrial Development Program at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center in Riyadh. Earlier, he was head of Global Gas Markets in Group Economics in BP. Dr Deb has a Doctor of Science degree from ETH Zürich and a Master of Arts in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
