Lalit Bhasin is president of the Society of Indian Law Firms. He is the former president of the Bar Association of India, having served as a veteran in the legal field for more than 60 years. In addition, he chairs the Indian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Amity University awarded him a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) Honoris Causa in 2013.
