The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) has begun the preparation process for its annual national awards by inviting nominations for the ICC Awards for the year 2013. The last date for submitting the nominations is May 15, 2014.
Participation is open to any industrial unit engaged in operation of refinery, petrochemicals, fertilisers, inorganic & organic chemicals, speciality chemicals, pharma/biotech, agrochemicals, man-made fibres, soaps & detergents, paints & pigments, dyes & dye intermediates.
ICC offers annual national awards to encourage excellence of achievements in various fields. Nominations received are scrutinised by a team consisting of experts from the industry, academia, national laboratories, etc. These awards are presented to the winners at the time of the annual general meeting of the association or at a special function organised for the purpose which is normally held in the month of September/October every year.
