 "Inox Wind bags 50 MW wind power project from in Gujarat Mineral Development")
Inox Wind has bagged an order for a 50 MW wind power project at Rojmal, Gujarat, from Gujarat Mineral Development Corp Ltd (GMDC), a leading minerals and lignite mining company in INdia with an installed wind generating capacity of 150 MW in Gujarat. As part of the turnkey order, Inox will supply and install 25 units of its advanced 2MW DFIG 100 rotor dia wind turbine generators (WTGs) for GMDC.
The 50 MW project is GMDC's first order with Inox Wind and will be part of the 'Inox Wind Park' of 400 MW capacity at Rojmal.
Kailash Tarachandani, chief executive officer, Inox Wind Ltd, said, "The order has further boosted Inox Wind's strong order book with major institutions in the country. We are happy to partner with GMDC in its goal to becoming the highest wind power generating public sector unit in Gujarat."
