Siemens wins Rs 67-crore order from L&T for gas insulated switchgear
As per the contract, Siemens will supply 400 kV and 220kV GIS for a substation project of Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited
Siemens Ltd on July 27, 2015 won a crucial order worth approximately Rs 67 crore for supply of high-voltage gas insulated switchgear (GIS) from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for a substation project of Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited, the power transmission utility of Himachal Pradesh. The scope of work involves supply of 400 kV and 220 kV GIS including supervision of erection, testing & commissioning. The gas insulated switchgear will be manufactured in Siemens’ state-of-the-art factory in Aurangabad.
