Natco Pharma Limited has launched the first generic equivalent of Tamiflu oral capsules, 30 mg, 45 mg and 75 mg through its marketing partner Alvogen in the US market. Tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate capsules), a US registered trademark of Hoffman La-Roche Inc Corporation, is an antiviral medication used to treat influenza A and influenza B, and to prevent flu after exposure
Tamiflu oral capsules had US sales of approximately $ 403 million for twelve months ending December 2015, according to IMS Health.
