Standard Chartered Bank - Digital Partners for AstaGuru's Art for Sight

Standard Chartered Private Bank partners with AstaGuru as Digital Partners for AstaGuru’s online auction “Art for Sight” . It is a philanthropic initiative aimed at raising funds towards the Bank’s ‘Seeing is Believing’ programme. ‘Seeing is Believing’ is the Bank’s global programme that is aimed at tackling avoidable blindness and visual impairment. This online auction is scheduled for September 7-8, 2014. Standard Chartered Bank is the digital partner for AstaGuru’s online art auction.

Over these two days clients shall have exclusive access to 83 pieces of art by renowned artists. AstaGuru.com will auction 83 lots of exclusive artworks of Indian Modern Masters such as M.F.Husain, S.H.Raza, F.N.Souza, Ram Kumar, Sakti Burman, Krishen Khanna, Akbar Padamsee, and Contemporary artists such as Justin Ponmany, Milburn Cherian and Baiju Parthan. A percent of the proceeds of this event will be contributed towards ‘Seeing is Believing’ (SiB) and the Bank will match every dollar raised.

AstaGuru.com is one of India’s largest online auctioneers of art, dealing with the most respected modern and contemporary artists in India. On its fifth edition of Modern and Contemporary auction, AstaGuru brings together rare and exciting artworks from various parts of India for its collectors all across the globe. The auction starts on Sunday 7th September 10:30 am and shall be concluded on Monday, 8th September, 2014 at 09.30pm I.S.T. Closing time for specific lots are mentioned online.
