The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This decision of the Company has arisen because (a) TGBCL has not revised the basic price of the Company’s beer since 2019-20, resulting in huge losses in the State and (b) significant overdues remaining unpaid by TGBCL for the past supply of beer by the Company. As a result, the continued supply of our beer to TGBCL has been rendered unviable".

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Transformers and Rectifiers (India) today reported December quarter results. The company posted Q3FY25 revenue from operations at Rs 559.36, up 51.5 per cent year-on-year from Rs 369.35 crore in the year ago period.

The company's profit before tax stood at Rs 73.73 crore, jumping 258.26 per cent from the year ago period's Rs 20.58 crore.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India)'s profit for the period jumped 252.9 per cent during the quarter to Rs 55.48 crore, from Rs 15.72 crore in the year ago quarter.
