Tata Motors Ltd

Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive company, headquartered in Mumbai and part of the Tata Group. The company produces cars, trucks, vans, and buses. 
Subsidiaries of the company incorporate British Jaguar Land Rover and South Korean Tata Daewoo. Tata Motors has joint ventures with Hitachi (Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery) and Stellantis, which build vehicle parts for Fiat Chrysler and Tata-branded vehicles. Private equity firm TPG on 12 October 2021 invested $1 billion in Tata Motors' electric vehicle subsidiary. 
Tata Motors has auto manufacturing and vehicle plants in Lucknow, Sanand, Dharwad, Jamshedpur, Pantnagar, and Pune in India, and in Argentina, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Thailand. It has research and development centres in Lucknow, Pune, Jamshedpur,Dharwad, India and South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Spain. 
Tata Motors is listed on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange), where it is a constituent of the BSE SENSEX file, the National Stock Exchange of India, and the New York Stock Exchange. The company is positioned 265th on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's greatest corporations starting around 2019. 
On 17 January 2017, Natarajan Chandrasekaran was named chairman of the company, Tata Group. Tata Group share prices expanded its UV market share to more than 8% in FY2019.
Tata Motors Share prices: History 
Tata Motors was established in 1945, as a locomotive manufacturer. In 1954, it entered the commercial vehicle sector in the wake of framing a joint venture with Daimler-Benz of Germany in which Tata created a manufacturing office in Jamshedpur for Daimler lorries. Tata and Daimler produced their first goods carrier chassis by November 1954 at their Jamshedpur plant with 90-100 hp and a limit of 3-5 tons. 
Quite after overwhelming the commercial vehicle market in India, it entered the passenger vehicle market in 1991 by launching the Tata Sierra, a sport utility vehicle in light of the Tata Mobile platform. Tata in this way launched the Tata Estate (1992; a station wagon design in light of the previous Tata Mobile), the Tata Sumo (1994, a 5-door SUV) and the Tata Safari (1998). 
In 1998, Tata launched the Indica. A fresher variant of the vehicle, named Indica V2, later showed up. Tata Motors likewise sent out vehicles to South Africa. 
During the 2000s, Tata Motors made a series of acquisitions and partnerships, acquiring Daewoo's South Korea-based truck manufacturing unit, a joint venture with the Brazil-based Marcopolo, Hispano Carrocera, Tata Marcopolo Bus, Jaguar Land Rover, and 80% stake in the Italian design and engineering company Trilix.
Tata Motors Share prices: Area of Operations 
Tata Motors has vehicle assembly operations in India, the United Kingdom, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, and South Africa. It plans to found plants in Indonesia, Turkey and Eastern Europe. 
    • Tata Motors Cars- It is a division of Tata Motors which makes passenger cars under the Tata Motors hood. This is among the top five passenger vehicle brands in India with items in the compact, midsize car, and utility vehicle sections. 
Tata's dealership, sales, service, and spare parts network include more than 3,500 touchpoints. Tata Motors has over 250 dealerships in over 195 cities across 27 states and four Union Territories of India. It has the third-biggest sales and service network after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai.
    • Tata Daewoo- Daewoo is a commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do South Korea, and an entirely claimed subsidiary of Tata Motors. It is the second-largest heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer in South Korea and was acquired by Tata Motors in 2004. 
Tata Motors Engines has collaborated with Tata Daewoo to create trucks, for example, Novus and World Truck and buses incorporating GloBus and StarBus. 
    • Tata Hispano- Tata Hispano Motors Carrocera, S.A. was a bus and coach manufacturer situated in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, and an entirely possessed subsidiary of Tata Motors. Tata Hispano has plants in Spain, Zaragoza and Casablanca, Morocco. 
Tata Motors originally obtained a 21% stake in Hispano Carrocera SA in 2005, and bought the leftover 79% for an undisclosed total in 2009, making it a completely possessed auxiliary, and then it was renamed as Goodbye Hispano. Tata Hispano in 2013 stopped production at its Zaragoza plant. 
    • TML Drivelines- TML Drivelines Ltd. is an entirely possessed subsidiary of Tata Motors involved in the manufacture of gearboxes and axles for weighty and medium commercial vehicles. 
It has production offices at Jamshedpur and Lucknow. TML Forge division is likewise a new acquisition of TML Drivelines. TML Drivelines was framed through the consolidation of HV Transmission and HV Axles.
    • Tata Technologies- Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) is a 43 per cent owned subsidiary of Tata Motors which gives design, engineering, and business procedure outsourcing services to the automotive business. It is headquartered in Pune's Hinjewadi business district and furthermore has operations in London, Detroit and Thailand. 
Its clients incorporate Ford, General Motors, Honda, and Toyota. In 2017, TAL, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, manufactured India's first industrial articulated robot for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). 
    • European Technical Centre- The Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) is an engineering, automotive design, and research company based at WMG, University of Warwick on the University of Warwick in England campus. It was founded in 2005 and is a completely owned subsidiary of Tata Motors. It was the joint developer of the World Truck.
