Workshop launched to start rejuvenation project for Indus River basin

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Jun 29 (ANI): Himalayan Forest Research Institute started rejuvenation project for Indus River basin. A workshop was launched to start a detailed project report for rejuvenation of Indus River basin. Indus River basin is in the rivers of Beas, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Sutlej in 3 main states of Himalayan region. Research and monitoring would be developed to strategise development approach and activities for implementation of project.
